On December 12, a site visit was conducted with CINEA to several project areas involved in the PASS4CORE and PASS4CORE2 initiatives. These initiatives are funded by the CEF program with the goal of contributing to the development of a network of safe and secure parking areas for heavy vehicles along the TEN-T network in Italy.
As part of the visit, the three truck parking areas at the Padua Freight Village, a partner in the PASS4CORE2 project, were also inspected. These parking areas, currently in the finalization phase, are close to being certified as SSTPA, representing a key step towards a safer and more sustainable logistics system.
