On 15th July 2022, the Oasis of Biodiversity initiative was presented. Strongly desired by Concessioni Autostradali Venete S.p.A., it will promote sustainability and biodiversity by supporting the diffusion of a culture in favor of pollinating insects.
More specifically, thanks to the collaboration with the startup 3Bee, 5 technological hives and 20 Polly hives were inaugurated in the Ivana Cagnin Park, along the Passante di Mestre, to monitor the quality of the ecosystem but also the increase in biodiversity generated by this intervention.
The event was attended by the President of CAV Luisa Serato, the Regional Councilor for Agriculture Federico Caner and the Mayor of the Municipality of Mirano Tiziano Baggio.
